TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is solid.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The execution is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
